Police say that two men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Mottingham which has left one man fighting for his life.
Officers were called to Crossmead at approximately 5pm on Tuesday, April 9, following reports of an assault.
When police arrived on the scene they found a man, believed to be in his late-20's, suffering from a stab injury.

He was quickly attended to by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service before being taken to a south London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
At this time, police believe the incident occurred following an attempt to steal the victim's moped.

A Met spokesman has said: "At this early stage, officers believe that the man was stabbed during a robbery in which his moped was stolen.
"Two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. They have been taken to a south London police station where they remain in custody.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact the South East Command Unit via 101 quoting reference 5346/9Apr."
Crossmead has since been closed off as police continue their investigation.
LAS has been contacted for further information on the man's condition.
