A knife crime victim is recovering in hospital after being attacked after school yesterday evening.
Police were called to Dartmouth Road in Forest Hill at 4.10pm where they found the schoolboy.
A statement from Forest Hill School confirmed one of its year 11 students was the victim.
The headteacher, Michael Sullivan, said: "He is currently being treated in hospital and our thoughts are with his family at this very worrying time.
"We will make arrangements in school tomorrow to ensure the boys affected by this sad incident are appropriately supported."
The Met said the victim was 15 and that his conidition is now non-life threatening after initially being critical.
A statement read: "The victim was attacked by two male suspects who arrived in a car and then ran up to the victim and stabbed him.
"The suspects then made off in the car."
On the same day of the attack a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He is still in custody.
A crime scene remains in place and no arrests have been made at this time.
