An investigation is under way after 25 firefighters tackled a house fire in Hither Green this morning.
The four fire engines were called to Ryecroft Road just after 8am.
A London Fire Brigade statement read: "Half of the first floor was destroyed by fire. Part of the roof of the property was also damaged in the blaze."
Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich and Forest Hill fire station had it under control by 9.16am.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
UPDATE: The fire was in a suspected cannabis factory, according to LFB Lewisham on Twitter.
