Bromley police have commended a seven-year-old "hero" for his quick thinking when his mum collapsed.
Officers were called to Beaumont Road in Petts Wood yesterday evening (January 25) after a young boy called 999.
He told the operator his mum had collapsed and he was on his own with his baby brother.
The brave boy was able to give the operator enough information to get the right people round quickly.
Officers attended and found the mum on the floor in the kitchen. They provided initial first aid until the ambulance arrived.
The seven-year-old has been branded a hero and police confirmed the mother will make a full recovery.
The boy even got to have a play in the police car.
London Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
