The Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Forest Hill tomorrow to launch a new national helpline to help carers.
Kate will be visiting the people that run Family Action, which provides support to children and families in the area.
The duchess will be launching FamilyLine, which will give support parents and carers the change to speak charity volunteers, who will provide a listening ear.
The team at Family Action are trained volunteers with the knowledge and experience of parenting issues to support parents and carers via telephone, text and email.
This service will try to make people feel less alone and give them the support they need.
What else do they provide?
Provide both immediate and long term support
Help with practical information and guidance
Provide emotional and listening support
Help with understanding and accessing relevant services and information
Provide regular one-to-one befriending support to parents feeling isolated
