A driver was caught speeding at more than 100mph near the Dartford crossing this morning, in a 50mph zone.
The Audi car was stopped near the entrance to the crossing travelling at double the speed limit.
Kent police stopped the vehicle, tweeting: "Vehicle seen speeding at over 100mph on #A2 and #M2 through 50mph limits by @KPTacOps. Assistance provided to stop vehicle. Driver in a hurry to get home!"
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers from Kent Police stopped a car at the Dartford Crossing approach at approximately 9.10am on Sunday.
"The driver was issued a Traffic Offence Report for speeding."
