An image of a pair of surprised looking alpacas has won the latest monthly prize for a photographer in our camera club.
Knowing that wildlife can often be relied upon to generate a giggle or raise a smile, we set ‘funny nature’ as the theme for December in our photography group on Facebook.
There were plenty of amusing entries submitted, including a hamster playing video games, a squirrel putting up a leaf umbrella and swans dancing.
Some odd looking trees and plants were included as well.
After much laughter and careful judging, the picture of two alpacas by Neil Lennon from Bexley was chosen as the winner.
Neil photographed the animals in Wilmington and captioned the photo suggesting they were aghast at seeing their new hairdos.
There is a winter theme in the camera club for January, with the usual £50 prize up for grabs for the photo of the month.
