A boozer in Blackfen has reopened following a £300,000 facelift.
The refurbishment of the George Staples, which took place over three weeks, ended last Thursday (December 6) with an opening party where guests were treated to a glass of free fizz and canapes to show off the new menu.
For those interested in a tipple with a difference, the bar has been stocked with over 30 different gins, along with plenty of local craft ales.
The Blackfen Road pub has been kitted out with brand new HD TVs for footie fans and boasts a new menu aimed at catering for everyone, including veggies and vegans.
General manager at the George Staples, Peter Kitson, expressed his excitement about the relaunch and hopes the refurb will encourage new customers to come along.
"We are incredibly excited to relaunch our pub to the people of Sidcup. Not only is the new look amazing but we also have such a great range of food and drink.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone in," he said.
