TICKETS for the Spice Girls reunion concert at The O2 have sold out in under a minute.

The concert, which takes place on December 15, is one of a six-continent tour taking place this year.

The tour kicks off in Vancouver and will also see the girls visit Las Vegas, New York, Kohl, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney and Cape Town.

More than one million people in the UK registered for the London concert and tickets are already appearing on eBay for hundreds of pounds.

Further London dates have been added on December 16 and 18.

Ticketmaster is also advertising a fourth concert on January 2 next year.

The band says they are considering new material but will be concentrating mainly on their old hits.

Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell quickly became household names after notching up six UK number one singles.

The girls, nicknamed Sporty, Baby, Scary, Posh and Ginger sold more then 55 million records around the world and starred in their own film, Spice World.

Members of the group have since pursued solo careers and remained in the public eye.

Formerly The Millenium Dome, The 02 underwent a £350m refit and re-opened officially last weekend.

As well as concerts, sporting events such as ice hockey and basketball will be held at the complex.
