A man has appeared in court accused of murdering a father near a playground on Halloween.
Rocky Djelal, 38, was stabbed to death as children played nearby in Southwark Park, Rotherhithe, southeast London, shortly before 2pm on October 31.
Stephen O'Rourke, 46, of Grosvenor Park, Southwark, was charged with his murder on Saturday and appeared from custody at Croydon Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Jason O'Rourke, 34, of Catford Hill, Lewisham, appeared from custody charged with assisting an offender.
Both spoke only to confirm their names, date of birth and addresses, and were remanded in custody by deputy district judge Adrian Turner.
A plea and trial preparation hearing is scheduled for December 17 at the Old Bailey.
