Special needs students in St Paul's Cray have spent a day visiting elderly residents at a care home.
Riverside School took children to visit Baycroft Grays Farm Road in Orpington on Tuesday (November 6) where they made Christmas cards.
Sarah Lockyer, teaching assistant from Riverside school, said: "We all had an amazing day, pupils and staff included. All of our pupils have been talking about the beautiful residents.
"They have left a lasting impact on them that they will carry with them forever."
One pupil, who has aspirations of being a chef, spoke to one of the cooks at Baycroft about a future in the industry.
The school is bringing more students to the nursing and dementia care home next month due to the success of the recent visit.
