AN UNEXPLODED Second World War bomb which was found on an industrial estate has been disarmed.
It was made safe by disposal experts who were called to the Brocklebank estate at about 8.30am this morning.
A fire crew from Woolwich was also at the incident and returned to its station at around 9.45am.
The device was believed to be behind Matalan, Bugsby's Way, Charlton, but the shop opened as normal and did not report any problems.
