A group of Chislehurst students have been racially abused and threatened at knifepoint as they walked home from school.
Coopers School, a mixed secondary in Hawkwood Lane, is aware of Monday's (October 29) incident at around 3.30pm and is now working with the police.
A spokesman for the Met said: "A group of teenagers were approached by a second group of teenagers in Hawkwood Lane.
"The second group of teenagers were racially abusive to the first group and also threatened them with a knife."
They added that a fight then ensued before adults intervened.
No arrests have been made and the police were informed of the incident the day after on Tuesday (October 30).
A spokeswoman for the school told News Shopper: "We are aware of the incident and it is now in the hands of the police."
It is believed those responsible were not wearing a school uniform.
