A new Sunday market is coming to Woolwich in the run-up to Christmas and will be "something good for the area".
The market will run every Sunday between October 21 and December 30 and stall holders are invited to sign up.
Woolwich Sunday Market is sure to bring you all the festive feels with food, drink, craft and clothing stalls galore.
Running the market will be Roi Mengelgrein, 40, who grew up in Las Vegas but currently lives in Hertfordshire and has been in charge of Tooting Market for the last eight years.
Roi told News Shopper: βI believe in Woolwich and see the potential and I want to help regenerate the market with local people and local performers.
βIt is about putting back into the community, not taking from it, so I want to get the best traders in London and do something good for the area.β
The market will be just a short step away from the DLR in Beresford Street and promises not just market stalls but live entertainment and attractions too.
