THREE brothers have appeared in court accused of murdering a 51-year-old man.
Samuel, Jimmy and Phillip Powell, aged 22, 23 and 25 respectively, of Star Lane, St Mary Cray, appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court today (September 12).
They are all charged with the murder of William Lee.
Mr Lee died in hospital three days after an incident outside his home in Ship Lane, Sutton-at-Hone, on August 26.
Kent Police arrested and charged the three yesterday following an investigation into the circumstances of Mr Lee's death.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
The men have been remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 24.
