Motorists can expect travel delays around Woolwich Ferry Roundabout after a car caught fire this evening.
John Wilson Street is blocked southbound due to the incident, according to Transport for London in a tweet published shortly after 6pm today (May 23).
The blaze has been extinguished after the London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene, according to a spokesman, but ‘long queues’ are now building up on all approaches.
It’s unknown how long this could last four following the fire.
