Hall Place residents in Bexley have been assured action is being taken after travellers descended on the site in force.
After a photo was posted on Facebook of several caravans - which has since been deleted - a debate ensued over whether or not they should be allowed to park there.
It is not known where the travellers have come from at this stage or how long they are proposing to stay on the site.
Thank you for this. We are aware and are currently liaising with the police.

Responding to a concerned resident on Twitter, a Bexley Council spokeswoman said that the council is aware of the caravans on site, and is liaising with police about the issue.
Update - May 18: A spokeswoman from Hall Place confirmed to News Shopper that the travellers have now left the site.
