Watch new films in ...New Cross
Sunday Shorts is a free monthly short film festival, giving independent filmmakers a platform to share and discuss their work. There will be eight short films and Q&As with the filmmakers, so like-minded creatives can discuss and vote for their favourite films. Sunday Shorts is on at 1.30pm and 7pm. Get your tickets here.
Inspire the kids in …Crofton Park
Crofton Books, located in Crofton Park library, is hosting a Rebel Girls day to celebrate women and teach younger children about the suffragettes. March 24 will begin with a 'How to make your own poster sign' at 11.30am. Next at 2pm there will be a 'Lives of the Rebel Girls' reading, 'Good night stories for Rebel Girls' from Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo, and there will be a chance to win copies of this book at the Rebel portraits competition at 3pm. The event is free so pop along.
Push yourself in … Greenwich
Tough Runs 2018 are a great morning out for the whole family. You can join a 5k, 10k or 15k around Greenwich Park and this weekend celebrate the beginning of spring. You will join hundreds of runners to challenge yourself whilst overlooking London. Every entrant receives full race chip timing, a medal and drinks and refreshments. Tickets here.
Join an Easter egg hunt at…The Cutty Sark
This Easter themed craft event also has an Easter egg hunt. There will also be a craft tent with birds nest making, Easter crowns and Easter jewelled Faberge egg making session. There will also be lots of retro sweets, food and drink traders. Tickets start at £7.
Get ready for Easter in …Bexley
This Saturday at Hall Place and Gardens in Bexley they are hosting an Easter garden trail for the whole family. How many spring themed children’s poems do you know? Come and find them hidden in the beautiful gardens of Hall Place, don’t forget to pick up your trail sheet from the visitor centre. 10am to 4pm, March 24 to April 15. Tickets are £2.50.
See some comedy in…Bexleyheath
House of Stand Up presents Bexleyheath comedy. The headline for this show on Sunday is the A-list comedian Andrew Lawrence. There are also great supporting acts straight off the London comedy circuit. Tickets here.
Watch a Strictly star in…Bromley
Brendan Cole will be at the Churchill Theatre this Sunday with his show, All Night Long. Brendan will be joined by a cast of guest dancers and a 14-piece band. From tantalising tango to fiery paso doble, elegant foxtrot to breath-taking waltz. Tickets here.
