Local Ward Councillors for Petts Wood & Knoll have confirmed that the area of Petts Wood Road, which runs next to the Memorial Hall and commonly known as Bluston Parade is to receive a makeover.
After pressure from shop keepers, residents and coucillors the road is set to be formally adopted by the Council. It is anticipated this will be a lengthy process as certain legal requirements need to be met before the road can be formally adopted and then improved to the standard of surrounding roads.
Commenting on the recent annoucement Councillor Simon Fawthrop said: "I'm delighted that the process has now commenced and that the Council has set money aside to complete the work."
