Southeastern commuters might notice something a little sickly and sweet on their train journey today, especially if travelling to St Pancras.
The rail company has given passengers a surprise by changing London St Pancras to ‘London St Pancake’ on all display screens across its high-speed network to celebrate the day.
It's also been giving pancakes out to customers.
Passengers have joined in the fun on social media, with passenger the peas_knees posting “All aboard the London St Pancake train”.
Passenger Martin T tweeted “@Se_Railway (thumbs up) for the pancake made coffee at work better #PancakeTuesday”.
David Wornham, passenger services director at Southeastern, said: “We’re really pleased to have put a smile on our passengers’ faces this morning, and hope we have topped their Pancake Day!”
