Showcase Cinema in Bluewater has announced a massive extension including four new laser projection screens.
The new auditoriums have laser projections, giving sharper pictures as well as more speakers than other screens.
Movie-goers will also have the added bonus of recliner seats, all available in time for the new Star Wars film out this week.
Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater is the only cinema in the south east to offer this in so many screens.
Mark Barlow, general manager of Showcase Cinemas UK, says: “We aim to give all our guests the best possible experience when visiting our cinemas. This is especially true of our flagship Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater, which was refurbished in 2014 and already offers an IMAX screen, VIP Gallery service and a Lounge Bar.
"This expansion offers our guests even more film choice - in supreme comfort and with simply the best audio and visual technology - helping us continue to lead the market in offering a customisable cinema experience unsurpassed anywhere else.”
As well as the extension of the cinema at Bluewater, a new flagship trampoline centre will be opening on Saturday, December 16.
GraVity's 25,000 square foot play area will open in the Plaza section close to the cinema.
Earlier this year, Bluewater was given the green light by Dartford Council to become the second largest shopping centre in the UK.
Planning permission was granted in April to expand the centre by 20 per cent, with 30,000 sq/m of new retail space.
Topshop and H&M will both gain floor space, with a number of other stores within the centre set to be extended at the rear.
