Pop group Bucks Fizz, now called the Fizz, will turn on Bromley's Christmas lights next Sunday.
Cheryl Baker, Mike Nolan, Jay Aston and Bobby McVay of The Fizz, will perform in Bromley Market Square on November 19.
The band will perform Making Your Mind Up and Land of Make Believe as part of a day of Christmas celebrations put on by the Glades shopping centre and Your Bromley.
Frances Forest, Business Improvement District manager, said: “Bromley is the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping and to get into the Christmas spirit.
“We hope our celebrations will not only showcase what Bromley has to offer, but will also reflect the importance of the local community in making Bromley such a special place.
“With so many restaurants, cafes and bars in the town centre it’s a great opportunity to make a day of it and take in the full day of celebrations.”
The Christmas celebrations will start at 11am in the Glades with face painting, storytelling and thousands of free giveaways in Christmas envelopes.
