ELVIS Presley impersonators are being given the chance to get All Shook Up for a chance to win a recording contract.
Gravesham Council is asking whether entertainers can convince even the most Suspicious Minds that Elvis is alive and well in Gravesham.
The Shrimpers' Regatta Elvis Presley Talent Contest is open to all ages and abilities on August 19.
Professional Elvis performers Mark Keeley and Neil Duncan will decide who faces Heartbreak Hotel or a Happy Ending at the competition, held as part of the Shrimpers' Regatta in the Riverside Leisure Area.
The winner will receive a trophy along with a recording session with M5 studios, based in Northfleet.
To take part each act must supply their own backing track by August 10.
Entrants must provide their name; address; telephone number; age; the title of the Elvis song they are performing; a picture of themselves, ideally in an Elvis costume, and a recording of themselves singing if available on CD or tape.
To apply call 01474 337442 or e-mail elvis@gravesham.gov.uk
