A Crayford man says he is scared after claiming to have captured a supernatural spirit on a social media app.
Hugo Smith was in Bournemouth when his Snapchat froze and revealed the spooky face last month.
The 20-year-old student is convinced he saw a ghost.
He told News Shopper: “I never believed in ghosts, but after that picture on my phone and how real it looks, I do somewhat believe in them now. How can you not with a picture like that?
The face appeared on Hugo Smith's screen after Snapchat froze
“I was shocked and spooked that I had to leave the room to get a drink as soon as I saw it.”
Mr Smith has shown the picture to family and friends who think it is fake.
He added: “When I zoomed into the picture I was scared – I still can’t believe what I saw.
“I've shown family and friends and they said that it must be fake.
“But it is 100 per cent real as Snapchat froze for a second and then the ghost was staring right at me.”
