Police are trying to trace a motorcyclist who stopped to help the victims of a car crash in Penge.

They are appealing for witnesses following the fatal crash which killed 10-year-old Makayah McDermott and his Aunt, Rozanne Cooper, 34, on Wednesday (August 31).

Police are particularly keen to speak to a motorcyclist who immediately stopped to help after the crash in Lennard Road.

The motorcyclist is described as white, and was wearing a white helmet and shorts.

Makayah's twin sisters, Niyah and Yahla, 13, were injured in the crash, and taken to hospital with multiple injuries, along with Ms Cooper's eight-year-old daughter.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old Joshua Dobby, was arrested and has been charged with a number of offences that include causing death by dangerous driving.
