Footage has emerged of Dartford keeper Deren Ibrahim scoring a freak goal from inside his own half.
He netted the first goal in the National League South side’s 2-0 win against Hungerford last weekend.
The Dartford stopper takes a free-kick just behind the halfway line and is looking to hoof it into the box.
But, the wind takes the ball forward and past his unfortunate opposite number.

Reflecting on his strike, Ibrahim said: “On a personal note, I experienced a feeling I never thought I would experience in a senior game for Dartford.
“I am over the moon to score my first goal for the club.”

Dartford boss Tony Burman felt his goalkeeper’s strike marked a change in fortune for his side this season.

He added: “It is just one of those things. It happens in football and I just reminded the guys that we have hit the post a few times this year and these things even themselves out.
“Unfortunately for their keeper, it was to our benefit.
“It gave us that bit of luck that we could say we have not had this season.”
