Kent Police are investigating after a man was targeted in a reported assault in Gravesend which left him in hospital with a fractured skull and brain haemhorrhage.
Officers are appealing to the public to help track down a man pictured in a CCTV image after the alleged attack on Saturday, July 2.
The victim - a man in his 30s - was asleep inside his car in the car park of the Ascot Arms on Central Avenue at around 8pm.
A man described as being in his early 20s approached with a group of friends and knocked on the passenger side door with his arm.
The victim left his car and following a struggle was reportedly punched to the floor where he hit his head on the concrete.
He continues to require hospital treatment more than a month later.
