Sydenham entertainer Rolf Harris has secretly been taken to hospital twice this year.

One visit took place after the paedophile was charged with seven counts of indecent assault involving victims as young as 12 on February 12.

Harris was taken from Stafford prison via a side exit, surrounded by high security, as medics fight to control his diabetes.

He was in hospital last month and again on February 15, according to The Sun.

The 85-year-old convict was previously admitted to hospital with chest pains in November last year.

Harris was jailed for six years in 2014 for 12 sex assaults on four girls aged between eight and 19.
