Looking good at the Christmas party is a big deal for a lot of men and women and it appears that we go to extreme lengths to get the right outfit.
It takes the average woman in the south east eight hours, nine websites or shops and three different options to choose the perfect look, according to new research.
Nearly two-thirds (66 per cent) of women in the south east will be buying a new outfit for Christmas or New Year’s Eve blowouts this year.
On average they will spend £66 with more than half buying more than one option and sending those back that they don’t wear, according to the study by TopCashback.co.uk
Almost a quarter (23 per cent) say they won’t re-wear a Christmas party dress in case they are seen in the same outfit twice and five per cent are afraid of being tagged in photos on social media.
