A bonfire in Ifield Road, spun out of control after spreading rapidly.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 11.07am yesterday morning (October 18) to tackle the blaze.
TOP STORIES: A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: “Fire crews from Thames-side fire station attended a small bonfire that had got out of control in Meopham, they used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.”
It was reported that the bonfire was brought under control within 20 minutes and firefighters had left the scene by 11.30am.
