A teenager killed in the Mottingham motorcycle smash has been named locally.
Ashlee Fowler, 18, is thought to have been killed when the motorcycle he was the pillion passenger on crashed into a central reservation.
The teen died at the scene along Mottingham Road, near Kingsley Wood Drive, on Monday (August 24).
MORE TOP STORIES The rider, a 17-year-old, was taken as a priority to St George’s Major Trauma Centre with multiple injuries.
He is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Flowers and tributes have been left at the scene by Mr Fowler’s family.
A note read: “To my loving son, I'm lost for words.
“Love you lots from your mum, nan and your brother, sister. RIP.”
Neighbours and eyewitnesses have claimed the pair were not wearing helmets.
