Pet of the Week: Boleyn has a royal connection
Wendi Batt’s Chihuahua Boleyn – better known as Bo – is so-called because she has something in common with the Tudor queen.
No, it’s not alleged witchcraft but an extra digit. Just as Anne Boleyn supposedly sported six fingers, Bo has six toes on her back feet. And, living close to Hampton Court Palace, Wendi thought the name appropriate.
Wendi said: “She is a sweet little thing who lives in Hampton Hill with Dexter the dog and Pippa the cat.
“She loves people, Bushy Park and dogs and cats. She is a cheery soul.”
