The Met office has issued a warning for bad weather across the south of the UK.
In a sharp detraction from recent good weather, today (July 24), is set to bring rain and strong gales.
The bad weather is expected to continue into Saturday (July 25).
The weather listing on the Met Office stated: “There is a low likelihood that the system could be intense enough to bring disruptive wind and rain to some parts.
“The public should be aware of the potential for disruption particularly for those engaged in outdoor activities.”
MORE TOP STORIES Areas of south east London and north Kent can expect rain of up to 20mm, but some areas may see 60mm.
Wind speeds are expected to reach 50mph along the coast, and 40mph in inland areas.
The yellow warning issued is two below the highest, red, but means people should be aware.
Minor delays to traffic may be expected.
