As part of our mission to deliver real skills for the real world by meeting the needs of the local business community and giving people the skills they need to succeed, we are proud to be launching our 100 Apprenticeships in 100 days campaign.

Pledge your support and help us create 100 new Apprenticeships in the next 100 days and place 100 students on the path to a rewarding career.

Statistics have proven that Apprenticeships can enhance your business and motivate your team. Apprenticeships offer real business benefits, both to you as an employer and to your staff.

With an ever competitive marketplace Apprenticeships not only increase the skills and knowledge of individual staff, apprentices benefit your workforce as a whole. So much so the Government has pledged to create an extra 3 million Apprenticeships by 2020.

Bromley College is working with the local business community to bring you a wider choice of Apprenticeships across a range of sectors. We design our Apprenticeships around you, so you can be sure that your employees are gaining the required skills and recognised qualifications that are relevant to your business and will add to your success.

Apprentices are employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week and usually attend college one day a week. At the end of the program Apprentices achieve a nationally recognised qualification and hands on work experience in their chosen sector.

There are a variety of levels of Apprenticeships, something to suit everyone including adult and advanced options for employees looking to upskill.

Apprenticeships are available to anyone, but it’s essential that there is a vacancy with an employer that is willing to support the Apprenticeships and that is where we need your support.

The Apprenticeship team at Bromley College are here to help you through the process.

Just think of us as an extension to your business and let us act as your HR team.

We will assist with job specifications, advertising your vacancy, share with you our pre-screened candidates and shortlist them ready for interview, we will even provide the candidates with post interview feedback.

We will work in close partnership with you to ensure we understand your business objectives and your company strategy. This allows us to identify how Apprenticeships can be used to improve existing employees’ skills and where introducing new candidates to your workforce will add the most benefit.

A dedicated Advisor will work with you to introduce the programme into your business, help you complete the paperwork and start you on the road to what we know will be the best business decision you can make to ensure growth and profitability.
