An Anerley decorator has been jailed for seven years after being convicted of drugs offences.
Jourdan Dacosta, of Jasmine Grove, was sentenced on Wednesday (July 15) at Croydon Crown Court.
Officers stopped a black Range Rover linked to drug dealing that the 24-year-old was travelling in with another man in Thornton Heath on June 26, this year.
As Dacosta got out, the second man, Daniel Williams, drove away at speed but later abandoned the car, which was seized by police.
Williams, 22, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged with driving whilst disqualified.
He was sentenced at Croydon Magistrates' Court in March this year after pleading guilty and was sent back to jail on recall to prison.
Dacosta was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in drug supply.
Police seized heroin, crack cocaine and MDMA with a street value of £1,200 from his home.
Dacosta was found guilty of two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, one count of possession with intent to supply heroin and one count of possession with intent to supply MDMA.
