Riot police have reportedly swarmed upon a Dartford residential road, after concerns about a man's welfare.
Confused residents spotted police in 'riot gear' on the street - they are said to have been there since 4am this morning.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended the area of Chastilian Road, Dartford, in response to a concern for the welfare of a man, who has been detained."

An ambulance was also spotted, and police forensics teams were investigating there this afternoon.
