A dog breeder has been reunited with her litter of seven adorable puppies, two days after they were snatched from her Swanley home.

The baby bulldogs were taken from London Road at around 1.30am on Wednesday (July 15).

The thieves attempted to access 'distraught' owner Annemarie Brogden's property through three of her neighbours' gardens, before successfully breaking in.

The puppies, who were eight weeks old yesterday, were all snatched from a fit-for-purpose summer house, which the 38-year-old has fitted with air conditioning.

Miss Brogden told News Shopper: "They forced a window at the side.

"I do not know if it's someone who's been in before.

"But it's part of my job - I have to invite people into my house."

News Shopper:

Miss Brogden is appealing for information with the offer of a reward for the return of the dogs - who will be welcomed home, no questions asked.

Three of the puppies are rare black tri males, which would be easy to distinguish.

News Shopper:

Their siblings are two red and white males, a red and white female, and a brindle and white female.

Miss Brogden added: "I am worried about the welfare of the dogs, because it's well known that they are stolen.

"Three of them are really rare colours.

"I will give a reward.

News Shopper:

"I am just hoping that someone will realise they cannot get rid of them so just return them.

"They are far too hot to handle now.

"I think they just need to come back.

"If someone brings those dogs back, that's the end of it."

News Shopper:

Miss Brogden was woken by her guard dogs barking during the burglary, and got up to tell them to be quiet three times, not wanting to upset her neighbours.

However she did not realise that a 101 Dalmations style heist was happening in the outbuilding.

She said: “I didn’t even check the summer house."

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called at 12.30pm on July 15 to reports of a burglary in London Road Swanley.

"It is reported that seven puppies were stolen from an outbuilding at the property in the early hours of the morning.

"The dogs are described as English Bulldog puppies.

"Forensic officers haver attended the scene and enquires are on-going."
