A tyrannosaurus rex famous for photobombing pop star Nicki Minaj at the MTV Awards will be on the rampage at Broadway Shopping Centre later this month.
As monster mania sweeps the country the Bexleyheath complex is preparing to welcome its own prehistoric visitor- a moving, life-sized T-rex which will meet shoppers on July 24 and 25.
Towering an impressive eight feet tall, the animatronic T-rex creature is 3.5 metres long and 1.1 metres wide with a moving mouth, eyes and tail.

Broadway Shopping Centre manager Peter Sedge is excited about the impending invasion.
He said: “I hope the tyrannosaurus rex is going to behave himself while he’s in the shopping centre – I’ve seen these creatures in action and they really are huge and very realistic.
“I know kids are crazy about dinosaurs at the moment and it should be good fun to watch them interact with them in the centre during the school holidays."
