Pet of the Week: Bootsie (and her mouse)
Look closely at this picture and you’ll see exactly what Bootsie is up to.
But rest assured the mouse escaped unharmed.
This week our Pet of the Week is a treasured friend that has passed away.
Howard Dawe, 76, from Bromley nominated black and white cat Bootsie despite the fact she passed away 10 years ago.
Howard said: “She was getting on when she came to us. We didn’t come to her, she came to us.
“We had her 10 years and she died of cancer.”
Regarding his action shot of Bootsie mousing, he said: “I caught her just looking at something and I crept up on her and picked her up and she just gave me this look. I wouldn’t let her kill it.”
