HISTORY
The constituency has only elected Conservatives MPs since its creation in 1950. Bob Stewart has been MP since 2010.
DID YOU KNOW?
The closest the Conservatives have ever come to losing this seat was at a by-election in November 1997, at the height of Tony Blair's honeymoon period as Prime Minister. It followed the resignation of MP Piers Merchant in a sex scandal. Former MP for Hastings Jacqui Lait, who lost her seat in the earlier 1997 general election, managed to win the seat by just over 1,000 votes.

Magic moment: In November 2013 a video emerged of Bob Stewart 'snoozing' during a parliamentary debate on the so-called bedroom tax. In the video, he was seen sat behind Conservative MP Anne Main with his eyes closed. At the time Mr Stewart told News Shopper: "I can't remember whether I was asleep, I may have just closed my eyes but it is quite possible. Sorry, but sometimes it happens, it is quite normal, a lot of people do actually close their eyes in there. I was in there for four hours and I wasn't even allowed to speak."

BROMLEY AND CHISLEHURST

HISTORY
The Bromley parliamentary constituency was created in 1918. In 1974 it became Ravensbourne. Before the 1997 election western wards of Chislehurst merged with eastern wards in Ravensbourne to form Bromley and Chislehurst. Bromley and Chislehurst has only ever elected Conservative MPs, most recently Bob Neill.
DID YOU KNOW?
When a by-election was triggered by the death of previous MP Eric Forth in 2006, Bob Neill and the Conservatives came precariously close to losing the seat. This was partly blamed on a poor turnout, and also on the presence of a high profile UKIP candidate - Nigel Farage.
OUTLOOK
Despite a close-call 2006, Bob Neill has since significantly increased his majority. It'll take a huge a effort from another candidate to defeat him.

Magic moment: In 2008 The Telegraph reported that, despite Bob Neill's house in Bromley and Chislehurst being only 12 miles from the House of Commons - a half-hour train ride away – he was claiming, under the Additional Cost Allowance, on another home in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Mr Neill claimed £22,110 in ACA in 2006/7, the maximum permitted at the time.

HISTORY
Since 1970, Orpington has only elected Conservative MPs. The latest is Jo Johnson, younger brother of Boris, who became MP for the constituency in 2010.
DID YOU KNOW?
In March 1962, Conservative member for the Orpington constituency, Donald Sumner, resigned to become a county court judge, and a by-election was held. Orpington was considered a safe Tory seat at the time, but Eric Lubbock, the Liberal candidate, won with a 22 per cent swing away from the Conservatives. The result caused a sensation and was headline news across the nation. It is from this win that the revival of the Liberal Party is usually dated.
OUTLOOK
Another Tory stronghold and current MP Jo Johnson should win comfortably.

Magic moment: Last year Mr Johnson's Twitter account was hacked, leading to spam messages being sent to hundreds of Twitter users. The messages, sent with links, included: "rofl u gotta read this, its awesome", "lmao you got to see this, its epic" and "omfg this tweet by you is crazy".
