When Jackie Youle took on two-year-old Connemara pony Bea she was in a pretty bad way.
Jackie said: “I took Bea on as a rescue. I was not looking for a horse, but she found me.
“She was in a poor state, undernourished, skinny, and in desperate need of TLC.”
Now Bea is thriving and lives to graze and have treats, though she does not like it when she is ignored.
Jackie said: “She has totally changed my life, and I hers.
“We have bonded. She has a star quality, so I have been told, as I am a complete novice when it comes to owning a horse.
“She's beautiful and amazing.”
