Motocross returns to Canada Heights next month as Sidcup and District MCC host the British Championship.

The Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship – powered by Skye Energy and supported by News Shopper – is back at the circuit in Swanley on May 3.

Scottish rider Shaun Simpson leads the 450cc class after the first two rounds, claiming five straight victories.

And we’re offering one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of VIP tickets, including VIP parking and a meal after in the marquee.

As the riders head into the third round at the popular Sidcup MCC track they will have to relearn the circuit which has totally change for 2015, with plenty of new twists, turns and jumps which lends itself to some exciting bar-bashing action.

You can start the day with the (free) paddock walkabout where you can meet the riders and get autographs, watch mechanics preparing for the days racing, see the bikes checked over in the official testing areas, pick up posters and stickers and soak up the electric atmosphere.

There is a shopping village, plenty of food stands, a beer tent, children’s entertainment and lots of toilets.

The colour, noise and tension of 40 bikes on the start line and the crazy first corner charge must be seen to be believed and you can get close to the action in a way you can’t with other motorsports.

Practice starts at 9am with racing from 10.55am. There will be a total of nine races and highlights will appear on Sky Sports.
