SAFETY posters have been issued to schools warning about the dangers of the internet.
Kent police gave posters to schools in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley to raise awareness about the web.
They aim to alert youngsters to the potential dangers of sending information and photographs over the internet.
Officers are concerned children are putting themselves at risk by talking to people they don't know.
Kent police youth crime reduction officer PC Martin Carter says the posters will play an crucial role in highlighting the dangers.
He said: "Filtering and blocking software should be put in place and parents should think about where the computer is placed.
"Too many children have an unprotected computer and webcam.'"
