FIREFIGHTERS were called after a lorry carrying fruit juice caught alight.
The vehicle was travelling on the M20 between junctions two and three when the driver noticed the fire and pulled onto the hard shoulder.
Fire engines from Dartford fire station attended the blaze at 10pm last night.
Two lanes of the motorway were closed for around an hour as crews extinguished the flames, causing some traffic queues near the Swanley junction.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
