THREE teens who pleaded not guilty to the rape of two 16-year-old girls are to stand trial.

Two 14-year-olds from Catford, (who were 13 at the time of the attack) and a 13-year-old from Sidcup, were charged following the incident close to Durham Hill Park, Downham, on November 23 last year.

The trio appeared at Balham Youth Court on November 29 and were bailed before reappearing on January 26, where they pleaded not guilty to the charges.

They are currently on conditional bail ahead of a trial at the Inner London Crown Court in April.

A fourth youth, a 14-year-old from Catford, was also arrested on suspicion of rape following the incident, but was released without charge.
