Explorers from across News Shopper’s patch helped us celebrate our 50th birthday in style on Saturday morning.
The inaugural News Shopper Treasure Hunt was a huge success with the Keetch family walking away worth winners.
Six-year-old Sophie and Lauren, aged four, made parents Jennie and Chris proud after scooping a flying lesson and four tickets to the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight.
Martin and Clare McCarron finished close runners-up along with their two children Ben, seven and five-year-old Thomas. They bagged a £240 cricket bat courtesy of Beckenham Cricket Specialist.
Meanwhile Kerry Searle and nine-year-old Jessica Prior finished third and walked away with a free haircut thanks to Headmasters hair salon.
A big thank you goes out to Queens Village bakery, The Daylight Inn and Divas & Dudes hair salon who all handed out clues along the trail.
