Dartford FC has paid tribute to a much-loved former director, Mike Brett-Smith who died last week.
Mr Brett-Smith has been associated with The Darts since the early 1950s before becoming Dartford FC's first co-founder in the 90s.
On retiring as a Director, the avid supporter was given the position of Honorary Life President.
Co-chairman, Steve Irving said: "Mike will be remembered by many people as a member of the Supporters Association committee for a number of years as well as Programme Editor in our days at Watling Street.
"He also contributed to other publications, such as the centenary handbook, The Light at the End of the Tunnel and was co-author of the original club history book published in 1995.
"Mike leaves behind his wife Sylvia, children Joanne and Andrew and grandchildren.
"Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to them all for their loss.
"A great loss as well to our football club, to which he devoted so much time and effort."
