As Bromley prepares to go back to the 1960s tonight for the opening of One Man, Two Guvnors at The Churchill, there is no better time to celebrate Shopper’s 50th anniversary.
Stars of the hit show Sean Williamson (aka Barry from EastEnders) Emma Barton (EastEnders’ Honey Mitchell) and Gavin Spokes all posed with copies of Bromley’s best paper to help us mark 50 years of News Shopper.
Already a hit on the West End, One Man, Two Guvnors kicks off at The Churchill Theatre tonight and runs until Saturday (February 7). If you’re after tickets, you better be quick as it’s nearly sold out.
The award-winning play by Richard Bean is set in 1960s Brighton and is a laugh-out-loud mix of satire, songs, slapstick and one-liners.
