A West End leading lady is to launch a performing arts school in the heart of Bromley next month.
When she is not busy performing on stage, Lauren Varnham will run the theatre academy based at Ravensbourne School on Hayes Lane.
Ms Varnham, of Ridley Road, is hosting an open day inviting children of all ages to meet her and her team at the school from 10am until noon on January 17.
The 25-year-old began dancing aged three and at 16 won a scholarship to the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts College in Epsom.
She has performed leading roles in We Will Rock You, Hairspray, Carousel and High School Musical to name a few.
Singing, acting and dancing classes will be on offer alongside workshops from fellow West End stars.
Ms Varnham said: "As current performers the team and I have an immense passion for what we do.
“The emphasis and ethos of the school is to ensure each individual gains the same joy of performing we share.”
Ms Varnham is currently starring as Dorothy with her dog Ralph playing Toto, in the Chuckles of Oz with the Chuckle Brothers at the Civic Theatre in Darlington.
