Motorists on Hastings Road in Bromley experienced major delays after a van smashed into a traffic island and overturned.
Emergency services were called at around 1.10pm after the van crashed and rolled onto its side at the junction of Brewery Road near to Bromley Bus Garage.
The drive escaped unharmed.
Hastings Road was blocked and bus routes 336 and 358 were diverted via Oakley Road and Croydon Road until around 3.30pm.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We sent a duty officer and ambulance crew to the scene but before arrival we were told an ambulance was not required."
